Scottish National Party members, after being betrayed by Alex Salmond and unpopular Nicola Sturgeon, time to ask the real question post defeat, SNP can never deliver independence, there is a genuine lack of talent, time to get out now and abandon a vile nasty clique

Low and behold, this is what would have happened if Scotland voted YES. Because the main party policy is and always has been to achieve independence for Scotland. You might not like it, and you might not like them. It's not just the SNP though, the SSP, Solidarity, The Scottish Green Party are parties who unified with the SNP, for a bigger cause. Contrary to your belief though, the SNP does have other policies, like saying no to the bedroom tax, saying no to the welfare cuts, saying no to nuclear weapons, saying yes to renewables, saying yes to elderly bus passes, saying no to westminster cuts which they have now put in motion, to the elderlys warm home discount. Plenty of policy's the main one being indy. But unfortunately, many could not see past the end of their noses it seems. I'm alright Jack so I'll vote no, or are you a bnp orange order no surrender type. Many types of no voters, but some of them stink. It's the soft no's that were let down. 5% is all that would have been needed, we never lost by 10%, it was 5% because that would have swung it, and you would now be living the beginning of the dream, of a better, fairer country. Sadly not to be, so we will press on now, and continue the fight. I am one of many, a legion of people who will not go back into their box. You don't give up on your beliefs just because of a roadblock. You continue and find another way. One day, you will find yourself in a free Scotland. Saor Alba gu Brath

Dear Anon

“Low and behold, this is what would have happened if Scotland voted YES”.

We would be living in a fascist state.

“Because the main party policy is and always has been to achieve independence for Scotland”.

Since when has refusing to allow Scotland a right to decide on whether to be part of the EU being confused with independence?

“You might not like it, and you might not like them”.

I don’t like the SNP that I will grant you.

“It's not just the SNP though, the SSP, Solidarity, The Scottish Green Party are parties who unified with the SNP, for a bigger cause”.

The SSP, Solidarity and the Scottish Greens, how many MPs?

Zero!

How many MSPs?

Two, and both are list MSPs.

“Contrary to your belief though, the SNP does have other policies, like saying no to the bedroom tax, saying no to the welfare cuts, saying no to nuclear weapons, saying yes to renewables, saying yes to elderly bus passes, saying no to westminster cuts which they have now put in motion, to the elderlys warm home discount”.

They were bounced in doing something about the bedroom tax by Labour, theyir opposition to welfare cuts is about garnering votes, they are wrong on nuclear weapons, renewables aren’t developed enough and require subsidies, opposing Wstminster cuts is about votes, elderly bus passes, why do millionaires get them, remind me please, and Westminster does a winter fuel payment to the elderly.

“Plenty of policy's the main one being indy. But unfortunately, many could not see past the end of their noses it seems”.

Don’t you mean people won’t vote for indy when there is no plans?

“I'm alright Jack so I'll vote no, or are you a bnp orange order no surrender type”.

That is rather cheeky and rather crude, rather exposes your argument as vacuous. Do you think saying “bnp orange order no surrender type” will win me over?

“Many types of no voters, but some of them stink”.

Do they stink as much as Alex Salmond and unpopular Nicola Sturgeon?

“It's the soft no's that were let down. 5% is all that would have been needed, we never lost by 10%, it was 5% because that would have swung it, and you would now be living the beginning of the dream, of a better, fairer country”.

In this better and fairer country, explain why the right to a fair trial is being eroded, or did you miss that one?

“Sadly not to be, so we will press on now, and continue the fight. I am one of many, a legion of people who will not go back into their box. You don't give up on your beliefs just because of a roadblock. You continue and find another way. One day, you will find yourself in a free Scotland. Saor Alba gu Brath”.

The different is, it will only come about because of people like me, that is the hard reality of life.

I am the guy who proposed the Scottish National Police Force and also the National Fire Service at the SNP National Assembly on 4th September 2010; I am not the dick who put 5 pence ‘tax’ on a plastic bag in Scotland.

There isn’t the talent in the SNP, but you already know that as Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon got shafted.

In future please don't use Gaelic, it is a dead language and I don't speak it.

Yours sincerely
