Scottish independence: Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon visits BAE Systems yard, ‘will madam be buying one or two type 26 frigates today’, she couldn’t save the ‘Hunter legacy’ at Govan by-election, what chance two shipyards!

Dear All

What a stroke of luck, Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is going to try and save the jobs of 835 people who face losing their jobs.

In her quest, she is taking along Finance Secretary John Swinney to meet BAE Systems directors and union officials.

So, by the end of today will 835 jobs be saved by Ms. Sturgeon?

No!

Nicola sturgeon cannot save a single job, the decision has already been made, previously on BBC Questiontime, a panelist made the point that Nicola Sturgeon couldn’t get anyone a job. The look on her face as she was outed on that point was most amusing to watch.

So, this is a farce, trying to stir up resentment, it is grudge, grievance and malcontent time again in order to try and kick start the Scottish independence campaign.

Ms. Sturgeon seems painfully unaware that the boat has sailed, and she never had a ticket for it, in the world of international politics, defence and big business, Ms. Sturgeon doesn't have the resources in the Scottish Government to save a single job.

A type 26 frigate costs in the region of half a billion pounds, maybe Ms. Sturgeon has enough for a rowing boat and a few lifebelts!

Today’s visit is all about Nicola Sturgeon get photographed, Nicola’s standing up for Govan, during the recent Govan by-election, I met many women that had pretty strong opinions on Ms. Sturgeon.

“she is an arsehole”.

And arseholes don’t save shipyards.

This issue is a dead horse, and trying to beat it back to life isn’t going to happen, Sturgeon has repeatedly tried that with the Scottish independence campaign and the disastrous EU membership debacle.

Yet again, Sturgeon has been outplayed, outclassed and outwitted by the Unionist camp; shipbuilding is to end at Portsmouth. So grudge, grievance and malcontent which is the usual tools of the angry wee Nat act which she has used for her personal advancement won’t work here.

Mind and take some bread to feed the pigeons Ms. Sturgeon; maybe you can save some of them from starvation, might as well do something productive.

The Clyde yards have been saved by the British Government and earmarked to build the new Type 26 warships, providing a vital lifeline to the workforce.

Saved by the Union, that’s got to hurt, now, she turns up to try and soak up some of the crumbs.

Pathetic!

As a reminder Alistair Carmichael, the Scottish Secretary, has suggested that Portsmouth would be ‘’well placed’’ for the contract in the event of Scottish independence.

And that is the bottom line, no British warships will be built outside Britain, it is a political decision from Westminster which Nicola Sturgeon has no power to change.

Ms Sturgeon in flying a kite insists that new naval warships could still be built north of the border even if the country leaves the UK.

No!

And to suggest this is totally deluded, you know; these issues should have been sorted out but like the entire independence bid, the whole thing has been a sham with no work done; now Sturgeon’s incompetence has been laid bare.

Another example of an SNP sham is the Glasgow SNP Councillors voting against ATOS as a Commonwealth sponsor, the contracts there have all been signed, nothing can be done there either, SNP involved in stupid little petty gesture politics of deception.

Clowns!

To drive the point home of who is saving what, Alistair Carmichael said the SNP Government had questions to answer about shipbuilding if Scotland votes Yes next year. So far the SNP hasn’t produced anything, but you can count on the fact that shipbuilding would go to the wall at Govan and Scotstoun.

There isn’t enough work in Scotland to sustain an order book.

Alistair Carmichael added:

“It is simply rash to say over 2,000 skilled Scottish jobs would be better served by the vague hope of future collaboration and joint procurement when, in the here and now as part of the UK, we are providing certainty for the industry and the many livelihoods which depend on it.”

The Scottish National Party has broken trust with the Scottish people, and has a habit of leaving people in the lurch.

So, today is all about trying to seem important, all about trying to appear relevant, today is all about getting Nicola Sturgeon’s picture in the papers.

Today is also about the fact that she can’t do a damn thing about saving anything.

Recently Scotland’s unpopular Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was in Govan trying to ‘save’ the ‘Hunter legacy’ at a by-election, she spectacularly failed to do that simple task, what chance has she of saving two shipyards?

None at all!

How many type 26 frigates will Nicola Sturgeon be buying today at half a billion pounds?

None at all!

Maybe she will commission a new ‘rat ship’, the Scottish National Party is due to put into the breaker’s yard in late 2014.

Yours sincerely
